A Boy

A Boy

A poem by: Husam (Sam) Salman

The bear has enrolled into my feet,
The fur has climbed up my arms,
The animal ripening my voice and desires,
The paws, like knuckles practically dragged on ground.
Strong you have become,
Fearless you have become,
You have become a torrent beast with nature encompassing you.
A boy; so brave, you are so smart,
Yet all this and impudent to the world.
