Pack those bags and prepare for that holiday happenings. Tis the season to buy more. But tell me - What is the new black this season? All the Zuzu pets of the world are not going to assist with the marshy wastelands we call "department stores". What happened to customer service, and service with a smile...and the free gift with purchase.
The other day I was in Macy's...home of the brave, land of the mediocre...with two hand fulls of clothing. I looked to the left and looked to the right, but not a single attendant was anywhere to be found. I walked to the danger zone, the cologne counter and asked to speak with a manager.
After 20 minutes of patiently waiting, I was greeted by Doug, a middle-America - Sara plain and tall type. I placed all my clothes on the counter and advised him that these were the clothes that I originally intended to purchase. I told him that his store was poorly understaffed and that I would return when matters improved. I walked out and didn't look back.
This holiday season, were all looking for that great deal. The primordial soup of price breaks...This year, I am setting off into the sunset and will only agree to return, when this "holiday' season is over!
